SOLD’s support to its customers during the cost of living crisis
Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD) is very aware that the current cost of living crisis is putting huge pressure on businesses, organisations, and particularly families.
SOLD have been looking at ways to support our customers during this challenging time and to offer assistance wherever possible. We are absolutely committed to offering affordable and inclusive options so that everyone can still benefit from learning and being active outdoors.
We are putting measures in place including:
- Keeping our price increases to an absolute minimum and wherever possible, below the rate of inflation and we will keep this under constant review.
- Being as flexible as possible in terms of length of visit to fit your budget.
- Reminding customers of our seasonal price differences and price options dependent on which centre and overnight accommodation you use.
- Reducing costs during your residential visits by offering resources for self-led evening sessions
- Options for one night of free under cover/indoor communal space to be used as you wish e.g. crafts, games, disco etc. These spaces are subject to availability during residential visits.
- Alternative transport options – local pick-ups by SOLD minibuses, parent pick up and drop off and public transport options.
Should you be having any difficulties in continuing with your booking, please speak to us first as we want to work with you find ways to ensure you are still able to visit us.
