Christmas DofE Gold Residential High Ashurst
We are offering you an exciting and vibrant Christmas themed residential week at High Ashurst.
Our experienced staff will be on hand to facilitate various Christmas activities whilst you meet new friends en route to completing your Gold award.
The course is five days long in total which fulfills the requirements of the residential section of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Our programme
The programme varies from year to year but we hope to include:
- Get ready for the holiday season with seasonal crafts.
- Make your own tree baubles with foraged objects and provided craft supplies.
- Christmas candle making.
- Prepare, cook and enjoy your own group Christmas dinner
- Festive outdoor activities
- Christmas baking
- Build and decorate your own group ginger bread house.
- All crafts made you will be able to take home to enjoy after the residential.
Accommodation
We offer warm indoor accommodation in high quality log cabins at High Ashurst and lovely warm food!
Transport
Minibus pick up and return from the local train station is available. Please contact us for more information before booking your train ticket.
N.B. If 5 applications (the minimum DofE residential group size criteria) are not received 14 days before the course is due to start, we will cancel the course and refund any payments made.
