We offer action-packed, outdoor activity Gold Residential programmes at Henley Fort.

Our land and water Activities Gold residential lets you try out different outdoor activities while our experienced staff help you step beyond your comfort zone.

You will learn new skills and make new friends en-route to completing your Gold award.

The courses are five days long in total which fulfill the requirements of the residential section of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Our programme

This programme includes a range of exciting and challenging activities such as canoeing, kayaking, canal boating and paddle boarding.

Begin the week with staying in a yurt at Henley Fort and doing activities such as archery, low ropes challenge course at our centre.

Then we will take you to our canal boat 'Angel Blue', for a continuation of the residential.

Activities will include driving the canal boat, open canoeing and maybe even some time to do stand-up paddle boarding.

Food and accommodation is provided.

Please note. If 8 applications (the minimum DofE residential group size criteria) are not received 2 weeks before the course is due to start, we will cancel the course and refund any payments made.
