Lead Outdoor Learning Instructor (Full Time)

    About the role

    The starting salary for this role is £29,697 per annum based on working 36 hours per week.

    We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Outdoor Learning Instructor to work across all our centres, with a primary base of Thames Young Mariners, Ham near Richmond.

    There is possible option of accommodation for the right applicant.

    This role is a supervisory role, supporting the senior instructor in the day-to-day operations of the centre and services.

    What are we looking for?

    • A holder of Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Senior Instructor (S.I.) or, Dinghy Instructor aspiring to be Senior Instructor.
    • A comprehensive understanding and extensive experience of delivering high quality outdoor learning experiences.
    • Relevant National Governing Body (N.G.B) Qualifications
    • Experienced in supervising and managing staff.
    • An understanding of theories and methods to enhance learning in the outdoors.
    • Experience with maintaining National governing body centre recognition and centre health and safety guidelines relevant to the centre.
    • An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be carried out during recruitment.
