Curriculum Enrichment Day
A typical day will include two activities from the list below.
These days fit into normal school hours (9.30am to 2.30pm):

- Team tasks and problem solving

Home Front and 1940's Days
Home Front is an exciting living history experience that offers Key Stage 2 students a practical insight into the lives of those who lived during Second World War, WW2.
This unique outdoor learning experience also teaches students about how the Second World War shaped Surrey's local heritage. Home Front takes place at Henley Fort, which once served as headquarters to the Surrey Home Guard during WW2.

The National Curriculum Outdoors for KS 1 and KS 2
Our new programme 'The National Curriculum Outdoors' links key subjects by year group/key stage, and is delivered using adventurous outdoor activities.
Options are:
- MULTI SESSION covering Maths, English and Science
OR
- BESPOKE SESSION focusing on one subject in more depth
Tailored to your learning topics which could include:
- English Narrative writing and describing settings
- Character creation and story building
- Poetry writing
- Math Numeracy skills
- Shape properties
- Estimation and use of equations
- Science Materials and matter investigations
- Creating a scale model of the solar system
- Conducting plant surveys
Programmes are targeted at either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and designed for progression in each year group.
