What does the day include?
You will have your own experienced skipper for the day and you might even have a chance to steer the boat as you learn about the etiquette and rules of the river. Everyone on board can help with the opening and closing of the several locks you will go through during your trip.
A typical day
You will meet your skipper at 10am at Dapdune Wharf in Guildford where Angel Blue is moored. After your safety brief and everyone has put on their buoyancy aids, your skipper will get you out onto the river – could be upstream towards Farncombe or downstream towards Send. It all depends on the conditions on the day!
You can then enjoy your tranquil river trip as you pass by some of Surrey's beautiful riverside villages or possibly the larger towns such as Guildford, stopping only to open and close the locks.
You will head back to Dapdune Wharf by about 4pm after an exhilarating day out on the River Wey.
