How to get to High Ashurst
Why forest school?
Forest Schools enable children to develop and learn the boundaries of behaviour, both physical and social, as well as establish and grow in confidence, self-esteem and motivation.
This is encouraged through activities such as:
- Fire lighting
- Bug Hunting
- Craft using natural materials
- Tree and plant identification
- Basic tool use
Please note: Little Squirrels sessions are for children aged 18 months to 4 years.
For everyone's enjoyment and safety, these sessions have a maximum ratio of 2 children to one adult.
