Christmas Holiday Activities
Come and join us at High Ashurst this New Year 2025 for some great activities!
TAZ is getting all festive the week before Christmas!
Getting into the outdoors, no matter what time of year is good for the body, mind and to learn something new!
Each day your child will take part in a land based outdoor activity as well as a festive craft session, making something to bring home with them.
Book here for 6 to 9 year olds
Activities that may take place:
- High ropes course
- Climbing
- Archery, target and sucker in the woods
- Bush craft survival skills: fire lighting, cooking over fire, den building, tracking, bug hotel building, scavenger hunt, nature hike
- Orienteering including map and compass skills and navigation around site
- Team challenges and games
- Eco arts and crafts: mud faces and natural art
- Onsite mountain biking
Each day we will be making something different, so don't worry if you book your child on multiple days.
Drop off and pick up time
Drop off is at 9.30am and pick up is at 4.15pm
Price
A fun day price is £50
What to bring
- Water bottle
- A nut-free lunch
For the safety of others on site, please ensure that this lunch does not contain nut products and plenty to drink (water bottles can be refilled).
What to wear
- Wear long trousers or leggings (not jeans), a long sleeved top and trainers.
- Be prepared for all weathers by wearing layers and bring waterproofs as you will be outside all day and in all weathers.
Please ensure that all long hair is tied back for the duration of the course.
Additional information
Our fully qualified instructors will inspire everyone to achieve and learn while spending the day having bags of fun.
Day session: 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.15pm to 4.15pm with 45 minutes lunch break.
All safety equipment is provided.
Due to rare unforeseen circumstances (eg: bad weather, damaged equipment) the activity sessions may adapt and in some cases may be substituted for an appropriate alternative.
