Outdoor first aid
This is a 16 hour course provided by Rescue Emergency Care (REC).
This is a comprehensive practical two-day course that meets the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines. The course outlines first aid for people who work remotely in the outdoors, where advanced medical aid is not nearby and evacuation may be required. However, the course is wholly appropriate for those who live and work in urban areas as well.
This course is recognised as appropriate training by various national governing bodies, including: Royal Yatching Association (RYA), British Canoeing, MBLA, MLTUK, ML Summer and Winter Awards, Single Pitch Award, British Orienteering and most others.
