Camping rules, guidelines and checklist
We reserve the right to cancel any future bookings for groups who do not comply with these camping rules and guidelines and for those who leave any of our sites in an unsuitable condition.
- Estimated arrival time is 16.30pm and departure time is between 09.15am and 09.30am. All groups must report to a member of staff on arrival and also before leaving the site!
- All our centres are quiet sites between 23.00pm and 06.00am
- Emergency contact number is located on the office door or will be given to you on arrival.
- Please report any suspicious visitors to staff.
- Please stay away from other groups or campsite users, stay out of fenced off areas and do not approach the wildlife.
- Stay out of and away from log cabins, teepees, bell tents or yurts.
- No dogs on site, except guide dogs.
- Smoking is not permitted on Surrey County Council property. However we understand that individuals may have the need to smoke and the following rules apply: Individuals are only allowed to smoke with the permission of the group leader and smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area please ask the Duty Worker for the location.
- No alcohol to be consumed at any time on site.
- Food needs to be stored appropriately due to pests.
- No fires inside tents. There are designated campfire areas, subject to availability. If you wish to use a campfire area please ask staff on arrival if one is available and request a fire permit.
- All litter, rubbish and food waste to be placed in appropriate bins. Please leave the site as you found it.
- Please ensure you separate the rubbish into the correct bins in the main bin area:
BLACK bins: general waste in black bags
RED bins: cardboard and paper
GREEN bins: glass, tins and plastic bottles only (please rinse and clean before placing in bins).
