Orchard Project at High Ashurst, SOLD in partnership with DAISY

In partnership with DAISY (Disability Arts in Surrey), SOLD received a Heritage Lottery Grant to replant and reinvigorate their derelict Orchard at High Ashurst.
SOLD and DAISY worked with disability support groups Link Able, The Grange, Artventure and Halow, all who support adults with disabilities, to host events and workshops on site.
Orchard Project

Working with DAISY member groups, Link Able, The Grange, Artventure and Halow, all who support adults with disabilities, we ran a series of events and workshops on site, with Surrey History Centre and with RHS Wisley garden.

The team here at Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development pride ourselves on offering high quality outdoor learning across their three centres – High Ashurst near Dorking, Henley Fort in Guildford and Thames Young Mariners in Richmond.
We ensure that our resources and equipment are regularly safety checked and updated to ensure that we only offer our customers the best activities possible.
Our Ropes 3 course is no exception and as it comes to the end of its workable life, SOLD are investing over £90k on a brand new ropes course to replace Ropes 3 at High Ashurst in Mickleham near Dorking.
